B.A. in Chinese with a minor in history and computer science from St. Mary’s College of Maryland

Rebecca started working at SCRC in 2021. She previously worked at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Her academic interests include Chinese language and LGBTQ history.

 

 

Amanda Menjivar, Processing Coordinator

B.A. in English with a focus on British and American Literature from Southern Oregon University
MLS with a specialization in Archives and Digital Curation from the University of Maryland, College Park

Amanda's academic interests include the performing arts, particularly musical theatre of the 20th century, literature, film and pop culture studies, and fashion history.

 

 

Kelsey Kim, Special Projects Archivist

B.A. in History with a minor in Art History and Curatorial Studies from Brigham Young University
M.A. in History of Decorative Arts at George Mason University. 

Kelsey worked at the National Archives and Records Administration in various capacities for two and a half years, then became the Digital Archivist at the National Museum of Health and Medicine, before starting at George Mason University in October 2018.  Her specialty is archival digitization, and her academic interests include material culture and American religious history.

Bob has been at Mason for nearly thirty-five years, both as a student and an employee. His main passion at work is to research and write about the history of the university, and is known to some as Mason’s unofficial university historian. Bob is George Mason University's first ever University Archivist.
